At Start Safe, we get it health and safety paperwork is the last thing most tradies want to deal with.
After working alongside contractors and small businesses across New Zealand, we saw the same thing time and time again: hardworking people getting buried in complicated, time-consuming safety documentation. It’s tedious, confusing, and often feels completely disconnected from the actual work happening on site.
That’s why we started Start Safe.
Our goal is simple take the weight of health and safety paperwork off your shoulders, so you can focus on the job. We create clear, NZ-compliant documents like Site-Specific Safety Plans (SSSPs) that are tailored to your work, easy to follow, and ready when you need them.
We’re not here to lecture you about compliance. We’re here to give you a solution. We get the safety documents sorted all you have to do is make sure your team follows them.
Whether you’re a sole trader or running a crew, Start Safe is here to make health and safety one less thing to worry about.
